About Us

We are a ministry of Harman Memorial Baptist Church, dedicated to providing quality education in a safe environment with active parent involvement. For 83 years, Harman Memorial Baptist Church has been serving families in Southwest Virginia. We began ministering through our preschool in 2012. As we moved into 2023, driven by our mission to develop a school that glorifies God, we expanded and established Harman Christian Academy.

We are committed to equipping our students with a Christ-centered educational experience that empowers them to overcome obstacles and embrace opportunities at every stage of their growth and development. Our goal is to inspire each student with a genuine love for God, love for one another, and active engagement in serving their communities.

We began our journey by starting our K-4 Preschool Class and Kindergarten class in 2023, with plans to expand by at least one grade each year up to 7th grade. With the Lord’s leading, we are excited to establish a Christ-centered elementary school, Harman Christian Academy (HCA). Families in Buchanan County and the surrounding communities are welcome here.
